Jonathan Ashby acted as the planning chair for the annual meeting of the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) from November 18-21, 2019 in St. Louis. There were approximately 600 attendees, with approximately 250 students who had supported travel to the conference.


Katie Berry received a collaborative Ideas Lab grant from The National Science Foundation (NSF) for the project: 鈥淩NA-encoded Molecular Memory (REMM).鈥 The project is for three years.


Maria Alexandra Gomez was a Co-PI on National Science Foundation (NSF) project: MRI: Expansion of the Molecular Education and Research Consortium in Undergraduate Computational Chemistry (MERCURY) via Addition of High Performance Computers awarded to Furman University.
